Cross-Continental Advocate for Families
Waeni Bacon's legal journey began in Kenya, where she earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from University of Nairobi and postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law, becoming an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She enhanced her credentials with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the United States International University in 2013 before relocating to Seattle, Washington, where she earned her LLM Master's in Law from University of Washington in 2017 and joined the Washington State Bar Association in 2019. In May 2020, Waeni’s journey took her to work in a family law firm Ascher & Denton until early 2025.
The Heart of an Advocate
In Kenya, "Advocate" is a prestigious title earned through rigorous training and testing. Though Waeni has established her practice in the United States, this commitment to advocacy remains at her core. It inspired the name of her firm—Waeni Bacon Law Advocates—dedicated to championing your interests and rights.
Our Symbol: The Baobab Tree
The baobab tree also know as the “Tree of Life” in our logo represents Waeni's approach to legal practice. Like the ancient tree from her grandmother's Kenyan property known for its resilience and nurturing nature—Waeni provides shelter, protection, and stability to clients facing legal challenges.
Approach to Family Law
Waeni brings preparation, responsiveness, and compassion to family law cases. While skilled in litigation, she prioritizes out-of-court resolutions through negotiation and mediation when possible, focusing on solutions that protect clients while minimizing emotional and financial strain.
Immigration Expertise with Personal Understanding
Having navigated the U.S. immigration system herself, Waeni brings unique empathy to immigration cases. She understands the stress and uncertainty of the process firsthand, approaching each case with both personal insight and professional determination.
